I'm a big fan of the Mirrodine and it's two big brothers the XL and the Catch 5. Here in South Louisiana these are killer lures for late fall through early spring. I look forward each year to this time to fish these lures as they are deadly on trout and red's. We catch some really nice trout on these lures this time of the year. One technique for fishing them that wasn't mentioned, is one that I love. There are times when the fish really want this bait on the fall. Throw it out, take the slake out of your line and let the lure drop a couple of feet. Then repeat. Usually the bite will be on the fall. It's almost like fishing a worm for bass, just don't let the lure get to the bottom. The bites can be anything from a slight tap, to trying to rip the rod out of your hand.

IVE FISHED RAPALA, YO ZURI AND MANY OTHERS AND THOSE ARE GOOD TOO, BUT NOTHING CAN MATCH THE QUALITY OF A MIRRO LURE. FROM HOOKS, COLORS AND GRAPHICS NOTHING LOOKS BETTER IN THE WATER THAN MIRRO LURE.
